What prompted this?

Well, the same lack of common sense legislatures that:
-Banned radar detectors
-Require front license plates
-During sex lights must be out and only missionary position is to be used (no kidding)

The way most are reading the bill, only OEM exhausts can be installed thus NO aftermarket at all.
