My buddy says recently at GM dealerships, they are not using Tech 1 or Tech 2 on newer cars, GM now wants you to hook the car up to a specific system that communicates directly with GM over an internet connection. He told me what the system is called but I can't remember the name. He was not to happy because they were having internet problems at work and the car did not want to communicate with the mothership at GM.
