I will assume you have the exhaust off, the drive shaft removed and the driveline beam removed. (have fun with that)
you can drop it like this

Or you can do it my way.
I remove the toe rod
disconect the sway bar from the rear knuckles.
Then I pull off the spring, Be sure to keep the shims in the proper order as you remove the brackets on the back of the batwing you will see them keep them in order and together tap them to the bracket or the rear end as they are!
Remove the spring from the left and right knuckles before you pull the center bolts out. I place a jack under the knuckles jack it up to take off spring tension and pull the nut off the long bolt and then you can drop the jack and the spring is free.
I then remove the left and right knuckels dog bones(the ones conected to the frame towards the front of the car) The halfshafts from the rear end, Then the long brace that conects to the bottom of the knuckle and to the rear end, remove that one by pulling the two bolts from the bracket leaving the large bolt with the washer conected to the bracket

You see the shocks are removed in this pic but you can remove them from the knuckle and leave them bolted to the frame same system as pulling off the spring.
Now all you should have left is the rear end with 2 bolts connected to the frame, I use a tranny jack or a regular jack under it unbolt it and lower it down, then you can seperate the pumkin from the bat wing.
