A leak in the secondary system will result in the vacuum pump running. However, a secondary system leak would not affect idle, but rather the action of the secondary system.
On the other hand, air leaking into the intake plenum someway
will result in a high idle. Other things as well...IAC, etc., but a scanner should help identify issues with monitored systems. Like someone mentioned: ye ol propane trick is easy to do and sometimes isolates a leak, if the propane can be placed next to the leak.
Then again...could it be the tune on the chip??? Just a thought.
