Back in my days when I owned a very beautiful modded Audi TT and was quite active in the TT club (I help organize the national events) I made friends with a lot of TT folks. We drove together, partied and went to multi-day events. One day on the AudiWorld TT forum a discussion was started about a car that was being introduced (I don't even remember what it was) and I posted something to the effect that the style was less than stellar etc. I found out next day that fellow TT driver that I was friends with had just taken delivery of the car I criticized. Besides feeling like a heel and apologized and he was gracious enough to accept. So lesson learned was if you don't like something express it in a postive fashion or do not say anything at all. BTW I hope this thread does not get to the C5 forums...they might hunt you down and make you lick their tires
Oh... I am usually the one who gets the brunt of the 'ugliest' Corvette...there are a lot a C6 haters out there, but I like my ride and have a thick skin...most of the time>>>
