I think those metal tubes on mine were tweaked before I got the car.
for the F tube, I would suggest using LGAFFs solution and putting the OEM one away.
As for the dual connector either the correct size Barb OR a piece of piping the same size of the OEM tube
then I think the Dual connector would be fine with it.. then use hose to go to the Catch can
