The rails were a bit more obvious, well with the plenum backwards that's the way you have to put the rails.

No doubt the sound is phenomenal with the short exhaust pipes and rev range up to 7.5k, but when you a build a car like this, power to weight ratio is paramount, especially with almost all the weight being over the drive axle in the rear. Using a LS based motor would have shaved off about 100 lbs and also would have lowered the cars center of gravity even more.
I imagine the gearbox is a Porsche box.
