Jim yes you do have access to it on your Z2 by hitting the MAP button on the bottom of you HU and change the view to forward looking or X2 2d Map display. I completed my upgrade just last night 20 min process. Very happy will send you the details and the guys email I bought it from the AVIC411.COM forum

No as I have no music loaded beyond my IPOD, In short I havent even messed with it lol.

Its a clutch bypass switch, Previous owner was tired of being towed due to the infamous clutch switch problem. His solution was to put it in the pocket of the Metra install kit as seen in my first picture. He also had lots of groovy LEDs from various alarm systems I had removed from the car and I had to buy a new bezel to get rid of all the accessory holes. I moved the button to the lighter position as is pretty much useless anyway. Next project is to route a power point into the console in the deep well area using the cell phone accessory wire. Also closing the lid to the cup holder area allows me to hide the big ugly button.
