I also had some fine glitter in my oil. I pulled my cam covers and the chain guides seemed ok. Is your picture of those? The ones attached to the cam covers? I?ve attached a pic of my secondary timing chain and it looks like it was rubbing on something, unless that?s just how they look normally.

Edit- from looking at the pics I had when I did this last summer, it looks like the other side may not show evidence of rubbing. I?ll try to attach another pic of that side. This side I know is the pass side.
