Zack,

Here you go.

Hi Craig,

Here is some current info with 2025 pricing in there...

I designed the Gen2 OEM revision C4 fob for GM.

I do some limited repair work on the older version of the snap fit Gen1 OEM fob (not the case currently on this one however). I used to add a screw mod for it as a labor of love but my time is more limited now). The internal electronic parts for the old snap fit fob are very scarce, I have to recycle the GEN1 fobs for proprietary parts such as the ASIC usually from donated damaged cores. No good snap fit cases exist for these older fobs. Someone tried to make a case for them and just ended up breaking cores. Avoid any case that has "corvette" spelled out on it. These copycat cases are notorious for breaking the cores, seems they have removed the chevy logo and word corvette now so beware. Gen2 cases are not compatible with Gen1 cores so cases are not interchangeable.

I fully repair the Gen 2 C4 fobs as well for $100 shipped within the US as long as it is not trashed and glued up from failed repair attemps. All OEM parts used for repair.

For the two screw back Gen2 OEM revision fob I have all the CAD/CAM/CAE and firmware, as well as actual left over production parts to maintain them, in finite supply however.

I build the 93-96 two screw back OEM revision coupe and convertible fobs (part numbers 88960923, 88960924) with new old stock, NOS(new old stock), parts left over from actual GM production. These are better built than production of course as I designed them....so I take time on each build and sign/date the inside of the case. .

Cost for internally signed, by me, fob build is $170 shipped in a small priority box within the US.

Lead time is 5-6 weeks currently upon payment receipt depending on load. I am a one person band here. I am not a business, this is more of a hobby for me and to help keep parts available for the vette community.

Terms:
1) Payment is via USPS money order purchased from a US post office only. I take no other sources of payment and no other type of MO with cash an exception. Been this way for years. Any other forms will be returned. No paypal, venmo, bitcoin etc. Please type your shipping address and email and include with your payment. Also note with payment if it is for a coupe or convertible as many models were available in both...

2) Once I accept and start your repair or build please don't keep emailing me about status or asking about details of how I repair or rebuild. I love to talk about these things, but just can't. You may email me about status IF the MAX lead time estimate has expired. The reason is simple, if I spend two hours answering emails each evening for just these type queries alone no fob work progress is made. I have many issues pop up as it is that can delay things due to not being a company, but just an old one person band doing this intermittently in my spare time.

3) The rattle in these fobs is normal. It's the metal ball inside the motion sensor. Please don't disassemble your fob and risk breaking it trying to find the source of the noise.

4) I do not interact on the phone (personal adversion). Email only.

5) Shipping in within the US only. Outside the US please use a liaison for payment in the US and to whom I can ship and who can then send to you and keep up with all the customs issues.

Let me know what you need such as coupe or convertible version when ordering. I get email from all over the world.. So responses can be slow. I value patience above all.

Bree
