Thank you for reminding me of anti-drain back being critical. Perhaps checking the weight before install and after engine shut down after so many hours would provide a meaningful info.
I seriously considered pre-luber a few years back. But then, blown head gasket, rebuilding the motor twice, sent me in a different direction. Now a days, I log less than 5,000 miles per year and the Z will probably out live my left leg.
