Thanks for sharing. I guess the moral of the story is, it it ain't broke just leave it alone? I am going to tear into under the plenum since I am finally getting around to installing a spare ported top end. I was going to replace the original coil packs (new MSDs on the shelf) just because while I'm in there with new everything. I think I'll just leave the old, original coils alone before I start having problems (95 with 31K miles). I guess they don't make anything like they used to.
