The Michelin’s Pilot Sport PS2 fronts are 24 pounds each for the same 275/40ZR 17’s while the rears are 34 pounds each, but are 335/35ZR 17’s. The standard rear Goodyear F1 GS-D3’s are 315/35 17’s, but have a narrower tread at 30 pounds each.
Is the above examples, the Goodyear’s are 2 pounds lighter per full set than the Michelin’s.
From my driving experience with both brands, the Michelin’s are superior in ride and dry handling. Skip dinner and the car will weigh the same with the Michelin’s. [emoji23]
