Since I didn't get any bites originally, I just went ahead and painted mine. It turned out great, except I added a clear coat (DiamondFinish, aerosol) that promptly yellowed at operating temperature
So, I'm going to have to redo it anyhow.
The plenum, TB, and air horn I also cleared, but with a brush from a can of the same product (then sanded and polished) .. it looks great; did not yellow at all.
