I recall seeing you washed the car with a pressure washer a day or so before you had the performance anomaly. Perhaps the drain might be clogged, filling the boot and some water entered the tank.
Alternatively, perhaps you picked up some contaminated fuel.
Strange that the problem appeared then vanished.
This leads me to suspect a fuel issue as opposed to a mechanical one.
Mechanical issues typically don't come and go.

the thought of condense/water in the fuel has actually crossed my mind too. But, it runs fine now and I will check connectors etc when we get home. 1600 miles and counting so far [emoji106]
