I did check on those plastic pieces glued to my car and yes it still says ZR-1.

I also checked on my build sheet, original window sticker, option list and this web site URL http://www.zr1netregistry.com and they all say ZR1. The hyphen is nothing more than a marketing thing.

My point is it really is NOT a big deal if the car is called ZR-1 or ZR1. (I never heard it called ZR hyphen 1, it's only in writing that we use the hyphen when we're patient to do it). This revived topic is only here because of the new ZR1 is making people sensitive about it. This argument is just as silly as when people call the Z06 a Zoh6 and people argue over which is correct. We all know what it is and what it is called, so can we get a little more technical on this "ZR-1 Technical Posting" forum and discuss the virtues of the 415 vs 441, instead.

What is important that we still care about our cars and help each other out in time of need. That is why I cherish this site and its members.

Let me put it this way, I still enjoy my '95 #442 today as much or more as I did when I drove it off the showroom floor. I also enjoyed a ride in a stock C6Z at Pocono racetrack and it out accellerates outhandles most ZR-1s. Will I keep my ZR-1? You bet. Will I get a Z06, ZR1 in the future? You bet.
