I'm still holding out for a DOHC, mid-engine GT style Corvette,
if I should live so long. I've been a Corvette guy since puberty, and a dyed in the wool SBC fan before that, up until I experienced the LT5! So, if GM doesn't offer one again in a Corvette, preferably a mid-engine Corvette, I'm going shopping for a Ford GT 40 and kiss GM off forever
