In the 91 ZR-1 manual, there is a picture of the wheel wrench extension and the wheel lock nut in an elastic sleeve that is Velcroed inside the console. In the 92 and on manuals, there is a holder for the wheel lock nut as the manuals are the zip-up kind vs the 90 and 91 manuals. There is an elastic sleeve in both of my cars that held the wheel wrench extension.
The 92-93 NCRS manual shows the contents of the center console and list them. The wheel lock nut and the wheel wrench extension look the exact same except for the ribbed inside for the wheel lock nut.
According to Betty at the NCM, the wheel lock bag, the owner's manual and the wheel wrench extension were put in the car by the dealers and not at the assembly plant. The last ZR-1, that the museum has, does not have those contents. Console is empty.
The only thing behind the drivers seat is the wrench to jack up the car. I didn't look but I think that has been relocated in the later Z's. I only had the 92, 93 and 95 ZR-1's.
I hope that helps.
