I drove the Autobahn last month Berlin to Hamburg and back. It's a driver's dream, wish I had a ZR-1 instead of rental Opal (GM).
Actually I was impressed by many aspects of German life.
130km speed was all we did ...and the left lane for passing only, which everyone in the US forgot about.
I didn't know such well built roads existed...so smooth.

I wanted to know, Does Germany use road salt in the wintertime? Hard to imagine because the roads had no cracks, nor potholes whatsoever.
