Hi Mr Blue . You will not require helmets for the touring laps . I would say , good tires , good brakes , recent brake fluid change , does your hand brake function and of course check all fluids and make sure there are no fluids leaking from your vehicle . You can increase your tires pressures a little if you want but regular street pressures will be fine as were not racing , just touring the track and following a lead vehicle . .
I am also doing the gokarts and bringing my own helmet for karts but I am sure they will supply helmets at the go kart rental .
