I guess you can make anything work, but I would suggest using the stock replacement vacuum hoses and connectors from Jerrys. When we did my plenum pull this past weekend, I had all new hoses ready to go. Even when told some of the old ones looked, we replaced anyway. And the check valve connection was very loose. And then there was the split in the PCV hose. Yes it was an expense to replace the hoses, but well worth it for me. My vacuum is 100% tight, pump is plugged in and comes on for 2 sec when starting and shuts off. And I have my secondaries.......JMO
