Is the C4 ZR-1:

"The Fastest American Factory Production Car of the Twentieth Century"?

Now that's a bunch of qualifiers there, but what vehicle is faster? Not talking 0-60, or quarter mi. times, just top-end.
No "tuner cars" either, factory stock.
