Ya know...it's been a long time since I thought about DIY SRC "hacks" for drag racing.
Yes, I'd put the system in performance then pull the SRC fuse or disconnect the power. Then, manually open the bypass valves in the front shocks. Now, keep in mind that, even though the mode selector is in PERF, since the car was not moving when you made the selection, the rear valving, while set for the most aggressive damping for which the system is programmed with O VSS, the bypasses in the rear shocks will not be fully closed.
Bilstein did offer a "Motorsports Controller" for SRC which accepted removable calibration chips and one of the chips Bilstein had available was for drag racing. At this point in time, I cannot remember what level of damping the drag race chip commanded to the shocks, but one can assume it was very stiff in the rear and very soft in front.
What Exotic Muscle may be selling is that Motorsports controller. You might ask him if he has a "chip" with a factory SRC cal in it, too because you'll need that for street driving.
