Default Re: 90- Hesitation/bucking at part/steady throttle

here is how i found out .ron if you would have made it to famoso one of those times you could have seen first hand . a friend of mine that used to do r&d at jacobs told me to try different gaps for best power so armed with that and 3 spare sets of plugs 35 in the car made 2 passes then put the 40 in 2 passes improved .07 et and .40 mph then the 45s .18et and 1.1mph 50s. .08and .60mph. the improvements are off the baseline of the 35s. i did a follow up at lacr the last week they were open with the same basic results. the hp figures are what chris told me when i gave him the results . since i've been going to the strip i have been using my gtec rr to help whittle down my ets and help me figure out what works and what doesnt. like airfilters and also exhaust changes for more power. the program that downloads on to my lapp top can tell alot of things and once you have it calibrated at the strip allows one to test on a vacant road so one can test and make a change and test. in fact on the street its more accurate when usiung my drs as there is hardly any wheel spin to skew the results . i have found some rather ineresting results on shift pts and leave rpms.decide for yourself , all I know it works for me and has made the above differences in my car. i think running 11.80 at 118-119 mph for a car with my mods is pretty darn good. ranger was a big help in showing me how to learn from the info i gathered . alot of fun can be had thinking of and trying new things. as time permits i have a couple of other inhgs to try before popping the heads and sending them to corey for a little more of his magic grinding
