Hurricane Andrew nostalgia 'eh? Just kidding, that was a tough time for us Miami folks. My home in downtown Miami was damaged and, rather than remodel, we moved out of the city and up to Jupiter. Love the area.

But this is about ZR-1's.
You can call me an "early adopter". I bought mine exactly 20 years ago back when they were still making them, in November 1994. I bought it from Corvette Mike in L.A. A pristine 91' with 3K mi. for $35K, (about half the new price at the time). The kid and I flew out to L.A. and drove it home. Why pay $$ to ship when you can have an adventure with your son for the same money.
I still have it, and I think I'll keep it. I used to flog the car at Moroso, now Palm Beach International Raceway, every time I put a new bolt-on on the car. Not so much anymore. Getting old and slow.
