I wuz lookin' at that too. However, as a retro the engine wouldn't have to fit up through the frame rails as they had to when the cars were on the assembly line.

GM Powertrain seem to have been busting their collective humps to avoid the obvious; the performance advantage of the DOHC architecture. MM was, I thought, being a little vague when asked about a small block version of their quad-valve DOHC beast; during our factory tour a couple months back. I guess we know why! It may take a little while to sort it out, but if it performs, as I'm sure it will, it will be a (pushrod) killer!

Can't wait to see the numbers!!
