I would guess you did not read that these are spare tires purchased as replacements so they would have been purchased in 91-92 or later. Date codes verify. We then bought larger tires the 335s and they were Bridgestones. I always went forward not back.
We also purchased from the tire distributors that were heavily into racing and they kept us abreast of the latest and best tires available. The guys we purchased from even had a gas pump that dispensed VP next to the ramp where we drove up for tire changes.
I also seem to remember that Mich were on the 89 testing cars and the 90 cars well into the model year 91 when Goodyear brought out the Z rated GS-C.
I could care less. I go for current tech not old stuff. I will just have the kids make swings out of them or use them for planters, if no one trades.
I feel real sorry for the people who bought and kept these cars as investments, I think Madoff made up those ad campaigns.
