What initially was thought as the pivot stud backing out causing the clutch fork to rub against the pressure plate ended up being a failed pilot BUSHING which was odd as everyone I have spoken to so far said they didn't know there was a bushing, they had only seen pilot bearings.

hoping to have the car back together this weekend and back on the road.

Thank you as always to this community and those connected to it who are generous with their time, knowledge and advice. In some small way its the only way we will keep us all on the road and I, for one, thankful for their dedication and participation.
