I have a zimmer chip. before he created z-industries.. zimmer did his own chips under his name. there has been comparison tests done on these chips and I remember reading that the zimmer chip was one of the aggressive ones out there. I have a 1990 zr1 #3028 and it runs very strong. Previous owner said, during track days, some of his buddies had 368 cube z's and they could not pull away from him. the only times the 368 did pull a bit harder is accelerating out of turns and that was because they had 4.10 gears.. as soon as he got to speed he was right with them. I dynoed the car a few weeks ago and I pulled a 402 to the wheels on a dynojet dyno.
