If you have the RJ45 jack on the side, you may have an early Tech1A- just it was still labelled as a tech1 until they marketed it as an upgrade with more testing capability. That is how mine was. After factory refurb, I got the tech1a label and a new keypad label as part of the refurb.

The jack plug is for the voltage probe feature to inject certain test voltages into various circuits according to factory procedures that may call for it.
