I can tell you that between the two mods there is a noticable power difference. My 1/4 mile trap speed is over two MPH higher, this indicates more power and I have bigger traction problems now  . This doesn't tell you much but it is all I can offer since I did both mods at the same time. Consider the Flowmaster #17115 if you don't have an exhaust. i got free flow magna flow mufflers on now,so we should be able to see when i put the chip in if there is any gain from just the chip. i dont want to spend $275 to keep the temperature guage down an eighth inch, its already good on the temp. i am looking for power here
