Re: Headlamps HELP
Back a few years ago Marc Haibeck suggested to me and
others out here in the NW (at a BBQ he attended) that someone
should try using rubber instead of Delrin in the head light assembly.
Well eventually I did and reported back to all that rubber in there
squeaks badly on the first run of the lights then was ok.
Well I can now report that even on the first use it no longer squeaks.
Soooooo, I conclude after a break in period it works.
You can punch out a piece of rubber with the right dimensions.
I have to check my records but believe this has now been
working for 5yrs.
The passenger side has rubber.
The drivers side is Delrin.
