No 'fast' fixes here Carmine. Take your time, do it right. Yeah - it's hard when you don't want to put down the 'smart' device for very long, but what's more important? The Z? Or the inane frenzy of MEANINGLESS data on the smart device screen?

Maybe slow down a little bit, grab a wrench and screwdriver, and put down the digital [smart] device. Forget about the interior / radio issues for now. Oftentimes, problems have a way of compounding, and when they don't get addressed, they get out of hand.

Take the H/L apart, see what's wrong, THEN order parts, IF you need them. Clean and re-oil parts in the meantime (even if not repaired yet). I did my own headlight 4 or 5 times, figuring out exactly how it worked, and what was broken, before compiling material the THE headlight sticky in CF. See where OTHER stuff is, how stuff works, take snappics, post up your progress on the boards, get feedback, etc. It helps us when [not IF, but WHEN] we have to do the repair, helps re-sale value, and most of all, it helps YOU - and NOT just by getting the problem fixed...

When you associate more 'sub'-tasks with a process, like a headlight repair, you develop critical and analytical thinking skills in your brain. Sub-tasks like I mentioned in the paragraph above. True, you don't exactly have to do the headlight every year, but you DO have problems all the time which require lots of thinking.

The more complex the sub-task - the better - especially stringing out 'syntactically' correct sentences, something hard to do on a 'smart' (haha) device's tiny keyboard. It's also hard for the brain to do it, when the brain is accustomed to instantaneous tasks, of no duration. Focus cannot be maintained (think ADD, ADHD, etc.; topics I've written about, amongst others, learning related, and had published, some of which is POST doctoral level, although my own DD candidacy seems to be in question).

Anyway here, I have dozens of snappics and sequences of headlight dis-assembly, diagnostics, and electrical repair, with annotated FSM schematics, if you want them in the meantime. You CAN start headlight breakdown right now, to find out what's broken, IF anything actually is broken, before the parts arrive...

Get some snappics posted too!
