There is a large diaphragm above the battery.
Check the vacuum hose that runs to it.
It gets brittle being just above the battery and can
develop a leak.

If that seems ok, with the car idling pull in on the diaphragm.
The car should rev.

From there if all is ok then you need to get a code reader or
scanner and read the error codes out and tell us what they are.
Places like Autozone will do it free.
Else we can point you at a procedure that you can read them out
on the dash by shorting to pins together.
