Years ago, I was working at a Gas Plant in Northern Alberta. We hit a Black Bear cub with a Ford Econoline Crew Van. Messed up the front bumper, stearing linkage and dented the oil pan.
The cub layed on the road for about 15 minutes or so. Another guy and I decided to go haul the carcass off the road, We got to about 20 feet from it, when it shook itself jumped up and ran for the bush.
That large brown spot over there was pretty close to where I was standing.....
