I went and checked all my bulbs today and saw that I replaced the reverse lights (around license plates) with Wagner 795 (50 Watt) bulbs some time ago. I think I also recall replacing one of the relay switches too for the life of the switch on the transmission and maybe due to higher watt bulb for reverse bulb.
Fast forward now to the days where LEDs are standard, what did you replace yours with? I see that corvettemods.com (also known as Mid America it seems) has even HID reverse lamp kit ($70); their LEDs for back up lamps are ($28). I don't use reverse a whole lot, but it sure is nice to have a lot of light when backing up. I would imagine the HIDs will be way brighter than my 50Ws and wondering the comparison to LEDs. I definitely want to replace the side reverse with LEDs.
