Default Re: 1990 lumbar bladder replacement

Its not really too hard, getting the springs to release in the seat back or-SHELL- with test your strength.Heres how I did it.Keep the seat in the car. There are long steel rods or springs the run the length of the top of the seat foam. These rods slip into clips in the seat backs. You need to get the clips to release from the rods in the seat foam which isnt easy but it seams once you get one to release the others release pretty easy.Starting at the top push the seat foam over with your hand along the seat back and you will feel the clips, you need to push the clip off the rod but be careful, the clips are sharp. As stated, the bladders dont last forever, dont know if Ill hassle doing it again. What you will need besides the bladders is some hog ring pliers and some hog rings, you can get these for about $10.Its been a few years since Ive done this so I might be off abit on some of this.
