Yah, I'm sure there are higher pressures in air craft carriers and locomotive diesels too. Come to think of it there are hydrolic systems that run 30,000psi that carried that space shuttle. But then they are totally different animals too.
I don't know of a corvette or other
gasoline engine with 2000 psi.
