Conventions are like that. They may be obtuse but many are.
I'd like to meet and talk to the guy that decided Feb gets 28 or 29 days but other months have 31. You'd think they'd be split differently.
Ah, conventions. I would have made it
DOCC - double over cylinder cam
or
QTCC - quad total cam count
or
THFC - two heads four cams
or
