Well I thought I'd post this video today but I see I've been beaten by a mile!
I set out with one goal in mind so hopefully this will answer some if not all your questions.
That is, Plug and Play w/full functionality for a STOCK ZR-1 and beyond.
Here's a cut and paste from Ben at DYI (my weekly update):
We now have a running car...

Most everything is ironed out now, with just a few wrinkles.
1. We can share data with the trip computer, just need to program our controller to send real packets.
2. The secondary cooling fan will turn on, but sometimes does not turn back off as commanded.
3. A few minor things to punch out, normal type items with a new application.
4. Have not tested the interaction with the traction control computer -- frankly the only way to do that would be to cause it to slip, and I don't subject customers' cars to that type of use.
The high / low selector switch is working, and can be set up 2 different ways. Program 1 works just like stock; spin to the right for full power, left for reduced power. Program 2 allows you to spin to the left to toggle high or low power (the opposite mode is selected) and hold to the right to engage launch control. We used a dedicated microcontroller for this.
Right after we took the video, I sorted out the idle control and got it holding 800 rpm warm.
We're pretty close to drawing up PCB's and getting them printed.
Thanks,
Ben
As Jerry stated, he will sell these via Jerry's Gaskets. I'll set the price point once all the cost are in. The $5000 price above is about double of what I'm shooting for. I hope to have an idea next month.
Cheers,
