I think I know the answer to your questions...Yes, this ECM is originally to be designed for turbo/supercharged cars that can't be effectively controlled by our stock ECM's. Other engine management systems for the ZR-1 have been around for years, but what Ron is trying to do with this one is to also control all of the basic programming plus provide for these hard to tune setups.
A bonus will be that with our ECM's rare and hard to find, there will be an option for all ZR-1s going forward.
If you have a stock, or nearly stock system and your ECM is functional, this ECM won't be for you, but if you want to add the Raptor LLC rear turbos, or some other forced induction system, you are going to want this...
