That's a real shame!
I'd say drive and enjoy it. I would replace those tires if it were me, you can always keep the originals just in case. Or toss on a second set of rims with new tires if you want.
I'd think there's a reasonable chance all the injectors are shot, especially the secondaries if they never got used in the last 17 years. Only one way to find out though...
