Don't forget, you get what you pay for, & experience is worth a million. You can ruin rare parts or pay and have no worries. Yet, I see where your coming from, far away, I have the same problem being from Montana, thats also a long way from any ZR-1 service people. I haved shipped parts out to get work done and the shipping can cost more than the service, of course the time delay is the real killer.
If you screw up it can cost double, don't fool yourself if you want a professional look. No matter how simple, you better PC everyones parts in town untill your ready for yours.
Just common sence, if you want great results.
