I also agree. Almost 90% of the parts we make are for the oil industry. While people were complaining about how high gas is the owners of the shops would always say "Hey"! I can afford $5 and $6 dollar a gallon gas. But I can't afford $2 dollar a gallon gas. And at that time I just didn't get that logic. Now I do. The higher the price per barrel it goes the better it is for us people in the industry. The more money the oil companies make the more they invest which trickles right back to the machine shops that get the huge orders and back logs which = buying more machines and hiring more people to keep up with the demand. If your in the oil industry that's a good thing. If your not it doesn't do anything for you. That's just a fact of life.
