I had a suspicion that Sean Connery would be the choice among many here, and I like him as Bond myself. He had a certain edge to him, and being the first Bond helped to solidify his image as the true James Bond for many.
I guess being a little younger
I grew up watching the Bond films with Moore, and the others seemed dated at the time.
However as I grew older and watched them, I appreciated Sean Connery more and more. As an actor I have always enjoyed his films and I can't think a poor performance in any of them.
