I've been told you can use aftermarket/replacement "rams" for the PV, check your own sources 1st on this... The stock ones, even new usually don't push it all the way open, the aftermarket ones almost rip it off the car solving the problem! I've had 2 new C-4s and neither one opened all the way by themselves even when new, and of course my current Z doesn't go all the way up either.
Also spray a little WD40 on the latches of the storage bins behind the seats, they like to see them latch when "dropped" from about 6-8 inches, pushing them down to latch is a no no.
Be very familiar on how to operate all of the controls, stereo, AC etc. Good luck with the CD player and seat bladders...

my hatch will go all the way up on it's own depending on weather...but the storage units always required a little help...thank god I got out of the ncrs crap years ago
