WooHoo! Kinda short notice, like
TWO WEEKS away, but Hell yeah!
It was THIS event that gave me the bug to do the mods to my then stock 90. Whata rush!
And, I've told youz guyz before, about the crowd chatter in the bleachers - mostly C5 n 6 drivers, and how they scoffed when this dark green C4 lined up against one of the Chicago club's C5 drivers... Something like, "Oh, look! There's a C4 lining up against (so and so). This ought to be good!"
Well, it WAS good...But, NOT in the way they thought it would be! (heh, heh, heh...)
It seems it was the infamous "MEAN GREEN MACHINE" in the far lane, and in a little over 11 seconds later, the silence was only broken by someone saying, "Holy Sh_t!"
Adding insult to injury, Dominic spanked them again, and then Pete came to the line once more. Only, this time there was a different tone - a little less condescension this time - as someone said, "Hey look! It's that ZR-1 lining up again!" Someone in the crowd said, "Whats a ZR-1?" Again, a little over 11 seconds later, he had his answer.

And, again, Dominic too make a successful pass. WEll, at that point, I couldn't stand it anymore. I hadn't intended to race, but this looked like too much fun!! It was a blast!
They give out this trophy to the club with the best aggregate for 3 different cars. It always seems to go to the Chicago clubs - or has for the past 3 years - C5-6 drivers, mostly.
Gentlemen...it's time to shake em up a little. It's time the FBI/Net Registry rattled their cages a bit, don'tcha think?????
It's time to see if the FBI can't put the fear of LT5 in their hearts! The trophy went to aggregates in the mid 12s. With Pete's monster 350, Bob Gs 427, Kevin and Al's 441, Marc Haibeck's 12.1 sec with his car last year...should put 'em on the edge of their seats, if not put them away all together!!!
Let's DO THIS!
