It's been said by those that make the stuff that it is best to buy oil with the needed ZDDP already baked in.

Here's info from a thread only a few down from yours, far as oil goes, and one from a pole question that has been going on for a while. The main concern is getting oils with the ZDDP rating they had when the engine was new, which is .12%. API SL or SG was the equivalent rating. Read on...

Do a search on filters, but I buy the Bosch filter (don't remember the # just now) from AutoZone. They can look it up on their database, which includes the ZR-1s, BTW, and filter that comes up is the Bosch that has the flapper in it so oil does not come gushing out when you remove it.
