I do not know the answer to your Q, sorry. But here is a mail order link that I use when I'm too lazy to drive to my local BMW dealership.

fwiw. I used to use the GM fluid that they were selling for the zf box, but I used to change it every year so say less than 10k miles...really more like 7k miles. When I realized that the formulation was not the same formulation as when our cars were in production I switched to the Castrol/BMW stuff...but I still change it every year.
