While I agree with you in principal, the reality of it is that I'm willing to give up a little freedom to travel in relative safety.
Well, as safe as one can be at 600mph+ 30,000 feet up in the sky in a vehicle composed mainly of aluminum and plastic.
If the TSA catches just ONE crazy mofo trying to hijack or blowup or whatever an airplane, then it's worth it.
The world has changed, and the change isn't good.
I'm more than happy to put away my traveling shoes and stick close to home.
